New Cherry-Inspired Pink Color of the Xperia Z5
Earlier in January, there were rumors about Sony’s new flagship in 2016 and the picture of an unidentified model was leaked before January 12. The pictures of the unidentified handset, when it was first leaked, resemble the previous Xperia C series, as the construction looks much like the C5 Ultra.
That was a revelation that Sony was ready to catch in on the latest trend in the smartphone industry where the likes of Apple are producing Rose Gold handsets.
Consequently, by January 12, Sony decided to give a new life to its flagship Xperia Z5 smartphone. The Xperia Z5 has before, boasted of the best camera in the smartphone industry when it was first released. Now, the phone is being released in the color of the season: rose gold or Cherry Pink more suited to the Japanese manufacturer liking
The pink colored Sony Xperia Z5 is not the first pink-hued smartphone from the company. The Xperia Z1 compact was made available in early 2015 in a pink color too. December 2015 was rife with rumor that the Japanese company will release a pink colored Z5 in 2016 to catch in on the trend.
Fans welcome the release of the pink Xperia Z5 as it gives them alternatives to existing options.
This shows that Sony is ready to battle with other smartphone manufacturers like HTC, ZTE, and Apple who have previously released their Rose Gold color of their smartphones.
However, it should be known at this junction that the new color of the Xperia Z5 is not the same as that of the iPhone 6s that some fans may lust after, though many will definitely take on the Xperia Z5 in its new cloth.
The specs of this variant is still the same. However, you can benefit from the change in paint as well as the spectacular battery life and fabulous camera capability of the 5.2-inch Z5 smartphone.
Although, the release will be in February this year, the exact date of the release as well as the pricing of this variant is yet to be announced by the company. It is possible that the pink color will be priced similarly to other colors available in the market.
